♦ ISLAND OF ETERNAL BLISS (aka Wedding Island, formerly known as Bullocks Hills)
[Distance from Isla Empieza]: 5 days.
[Terrain]: Gently hilly and dotted with churches, chapels, temples, flowery arches, and backdrops for fantastic wedding paintings.
[Weather]: Remarkably calm and gentle, mostly thematically convenient to any given situation-- though there are occasional typhoons which blow through unexpectedly and send things crashing around.
[Is the island inhabited?]: Yes!
[If so, what is the culture like here?]: Though everyone is largely involved in the wedding industry, it grew up around the island so the locals tolerate it even if they're generally disgusted by the whole saccharine mess. This is mostly for the benefit of the tourists and though they have little villages tucked into the hills, they are heavily guarded and no happy couples are allowed past the premises. They rely heavily on farming considering the receptions they always have to throw with rice being a heavy staple in the lowlands -- they even grow multicolored varieties for weddings that just have to have that edge.
[Island peculiarities]: None really except being directly opposite of Lover's Island. While you don't have to be married to be on the island, everyone will couple you off anyway, either because they genuinely believe it or because they are massive trolls.
There is also a rumor about a massive treasure hoard being buried in a cave under the temple in the tallest hill but in order to get to that heavily guarded place you must get married first by the local priest. Don't worry. It's not binding. But it's likely to be awkward as hell.
