[Distance from Isla Empieza]: 3 days.
[Terrain]: The island is essentially a rising spiral. It's a fairly massive island manufactured to look like a drill bit pointing towards the sky. It's rocky on the outside and there is only one port leading into it, but it's massive enough to be a major city. Vegetation is sparse on the outside rim of the island, but exceptionally lush and abundant as one gets closer to the inside of it. The wildlife and the flora are all jungle/tropical, so expect vines and tall trees all over the place.
[Weather]: Think rainforest. Houses have plenty of drains and basins for the abundant rains.
[Is the island inhabited?]: No.
[If so, what is the culture like here?]: The culture is split into castes, though not by birth or wealth. Citizens spend their days on the outside of the island until they're educated. The most skilled and intelligent a person is, the more likely they'll move closer to the inside of the island is. Essentially, the closer one's home and profession is to the center of the island, the higher on the ladder they are. The island's level of technology is fairly high as they're capable of utilizing telecommunications and high-grade factory-type machinery. Given that the island smells like a pristine jungle all the time, it's clear they've managed to do this without fossil fuels.
[Island peculiarities]: On top of its odd performance-based caste system, the island is also dominated by its taste in clothing, though outsiders likely would be unable to understand how this ranking works. It's borderline random, so most visitors don't read into it.
However, upon arrival, visitors will likely be a little flustered. Immediately, all clothing visitors are wearing when they arrive will vanish and be replaced with skintight outfits that cover the upper body and upper body up to the neck, elbows and knees. These outfits will have no discernible color and will seem as if they're cascading rainbows. There will be clothing present on the island itself, but visitors will find that wearing any particular set of clothing will influence their moods and personality. If it's an innocuous and neutral outfit, the colors will affect their moods. If the outfit has a theme to it, the one wearing it might find that it'll have a drastic shift on their personality. The island itself is heavily involved with fashion on a fairly creepy basis, so visitors might even recognize outfits they've seen or worn before.
