♦ CIRCLE ISLANDS
[Distance from Isla Empieza]: About a week and a half.
[Terrain]: A cluster of small islands that shoot up out of the earth in sharp points like spearheads, each having two equal sides and two equal angles. These islands are almost unforgivably vertical, dusted here and there with stubby trees, irritated stinging shrubs and largely populated with goats that have one set of legs much shorter than the other, giving it the ability to walk nearly sideways on their precipitous home. There are also a network of rope bridges connecting the islands together.
The islands themselves are arranged in a triangular form with two equal sides and two equal angles and rumor has it there's an island square in the middle, though the interior sea of this island chain is shrouded by deep purple fog.
[Weather]: Mild always with regular seasons. Though there is the occasional wind storm and so people must anchor themselves to the rock to keep from blowing away.
[Is the island inhabited?]: Yes.
[If so, what is the culture like here?]: The people here almost all wear triangular hats whenever they go out of doors. It's said to prevent evil spirits from eating them. In fact, triangles are a theme here and found in everything from clothing, to housing design, to stools, to sort of uncomfortable toilets. They are a very blunt people and it could be said that their conversations and observations are very...pointed.
They are tolerant of outsiders and will often speak of the massive treasure which can be found in the middle of the interior sea. A treasure so big, Davy Jones wept to see it. But no one who goes into that sea ever comes out.
